Former AT&T CSO Takes on Breach Detection for SDN at Gartner Security Summit
The Gartner Security & Risk Management Summit is right around the corner, and promises to be another exciting event addressing the latest in cyber threats, flexible new security architectures, governance strategies, the role of the CISO, and more.
This year, SS8 is excited to be participating by showcasing our break-through in enterprise breach detection: SS8 BreachDetect, a time machine for breach detection.
As part of our participation at the conference, we are also excited to have our own Faizel Lakhani joined by former AT&T CSO Edward Amoroso, now CEO of Tag-Cyber, on stage to cover “Applying Historical Analytics in Software Defined Networks (SDN) to Close the Breach Detection Time Gap.”
The presentation will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 12:45 p.m. ET in the Prince George Hall D, Theater C, at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center.
SDN is beginning to gain steam in today’s data centers. And while applying historical analysis of communications is an effective means for better detecting cyber threats and improving security, new advances in virtualization combined with behavioral hunting techniques, deep packet inspection, and virtualized managed security services present an even greater opportunity to address today’s challenges in detecting breaches in a virtualized environment.
This session with Ed Amoroso and Faizel Lakhani will explore what challenges exist in communications visibility in software-defined virtual networks, and what techniques should be applied to overcoming those challenges.
For anyone at the Gartner Security Summit who is looking for more information about our recently announced SS8 BreachDetect solution, we will be available to answer questions and show a demonstration in Booth #1205. We hope to see you there!
